Our new fund Activate Ventures II LP marks the latest in a series of six early-stage venture capital funds which I have co-managed from Bethlehem, PA.

With the launch of www.activatevp.com, we are replacing the Milestone Venture Partners brand with the Activate Venture Partners brand.  Glen Bressner and I serve as Activate’s Managing Partners, while Ed Goodman is an Investment Partner.

As a venture capitalist, I am encouraged by the innovation pouring into the U.S. healthcare sector. As a typical healthcare consumer, however, I still find it surprisingly difficult to navigate the system.

The growth in U.S. healthcare spending is outstripping GDP growth once again, which places enormous strains on governments, employers and consumers.
